No Love Lost |
From an abandoned session from May 1978, this lesser-known JD tune was elaborated in their earlier days when they were known as "Warsaw". This is the original version; the one from the An Ideal For Living EP is different. |

Disco Man |
Track no. 1 on the Friday 13th EP released in, well, november 13th 1981. The Damned have some ties with Emily Strange; they are her all-time favorite band, the cover art for their single Little Miss Disaster features Emily herself, and she has also interviewed the band members in the DarkHorse comic book series. |

Moonshake |
Track no.3 from the album Future Days, released in 197X. Their drummer, Jaki Liebezeit, is credited to have contributed to the creation of a drumming style called "motorik beat", which is essentially similar to turning into a human drum machine, hitting the beats with precision and amazing consistency. Echoes of their sound (and krautrock overall) can still be heard in today's music. |

Ether |
Track no.1 on the album Entertainment!, released in 1979. Gang Of Four's quirky arrangements were a heavy influence on 2000's indie rock, also sometimes known as "post-punk revival". |

Hero |
Track no.4 on the album NEU! '75, released in 1975. This gem, considered to be part of a music subgenre called "proto-punk", inspired David Bowie's legendary album Heroes. |
