Why D.I.Y.?
The phrase "do it yourself", popular in the punk subculture, has appeared a few times in Emily Strange media (including the official site!). It consists of creating stuff mainly using objects you already own or are familiar with (NOTE: am aware it's used for making furniture too). Being relevant to Emily's personality, it's a way (and sometimes a necessity!) to use your creativity, avoid giving certain brands money, make unique objects/clothes/whatever, invest in sustainability and save money! Doesn't making your own patches sound cooler than spending 2 hours on social media?! Why not give it a try?
